Project Engineer (Oil & Gas)

Join an established E&P operating company to work on a gas development project offshore Southwest Vietnam in the Gulf of Thailand. The Project is currently in the final phases of Pre-FEED

The Vietnam project will consist of a conventional, large Central Processing Platform with a Floating, Storage and Offloading (FSO) facility, 3 – 4 hubs and approximately 40 wellhead platforms over the project’s anticipated field life of 20 years.

Job Responsibilities :-

The Project Engineer will be responsible for key portions of the Project including participating in or leading the following efforts:

• Coordinating multi-disciplinary initiatives
• Contracting
• Engineering design
• Interface management
• Oversight of engineering contractors
• Mentoring less experienced company engineers
• Championing Health, Safety and Environmentally responsible design and execution.

Qualifications (Education, Work Experience, Language) :-

• Degree in Engineering
• 15+ years of Offshore Oil & Gas project engineering experience including experience on Major Capital Projects, particularly in FEED and Detail Design.
• Project Engineering experience in an Operator's project organization.
• Contractor supervision experience is essential.
• SE Asia regional experience is an advantage.
• Construction experience is an advantage.
• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills, working with diverse multi-cultural & multi-disciplined teams
• Strong references
